I collaborated with four teammates to build a giant Chinese moth out of cardboard.

"Recursive Space" is an exploration of perception, depth, and spatial recursion.

Constructed from layered wooden frames, this piece plays with the illusion of infinite extension, drawing the viewer into a seemingly endless architectural void. By carefully arranging modular elements, I aim to challenge traditional notions of perspective and dimensionality, creating a structure that feels both tangible and illusory.

This work is inspired by mathematical recursion and the concept of vanishing points in perspective drawing. The repeated frames echo the idea of self-similarity, a theme often found in fractal geometry and architectural design. Each layer contributes to a sense of rhythmic continuity, leading the eye inward, as if space itself is folding upon itself.

Composition of tools for civil unrest made of plaster

This project was inspired in part by the 1968 Olympics, when athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos raised their fists on the podium to protest racial injustice. That moment—simple yet powerful—showed how personal protest can inspire global awareness, and how solidarity turns an individual act into a movement.

The first is a single clenched fist, representing personal determination and the courage to stand up alone.
The second shows two fists holding a tennis ball between them. The tennis ball is a familiar object, but here it becomes a symbol of shared goals and collective action. The fists surrounding it reflect unity and focused strength.

In collaboration with a partner, I designed and welded a metal duck sculpture, titled Silly Skiing Duck.
