Starfield Backdrop Only
YUHE QIN
Hi! I’m a Mathematics major from Southern University of Science and Technology, currently a visiting student at UC Berkeley.
My work focuses on creating playful, polished games and exploring how games intersect with other fields—whether that’s art, science, or technology. I’m most at home in collaborative projects: I enjoy the give-and-take of brainstorming, iterating together, and transforming a shared vision into something people can actually play.
If you have any interesting ideas, feel free to reach out!

VR Stage
Practice
A VR stage-practice prototype built in Unity 6, where the user steps onto a virtual stage to rehearse public speaking through exposure-inspired training.
Gradually escalating pressure, realistic audience cues, and AI-driven feedback turn each session into an iterative loop of practice, reflection, and confidence-building.
Procedural
Planet
A Unity procedural planet generator that creates terrain by stacking multiple noise layers, produces stable shading, and supports rule-based biomes with fast editor previews for quick iteration.
Sisyphus’
Rock
A UE5 stamina-driven endurance game prototype inspired by Sisyphus. Players push a boulder uphill while managing stamina and load. Progress depends on tradeoffs between speed, control, and recovery under dynamic weather and terrain pressure. Built with a spline-based path system and event-driven triggers.
Rhythm
of
Life
Rhythm of Life is a rhythm-based AED training serious game.
Players keep CPR on-beat while choosing correct actions under pressure. They place AED pads correctly and deliver shocks in the right sequence. Built with guided prompts and rule-based assessment.
