Starfield Backdrop Only

YUHE QIN

Hi! I’m a Mathematics major from Southern University of Science and Technology, currently a visiting student at UC Berkeley.

My work focuses on creating playful, polished games and exploring how games intersect with other fields—whether that’s art, science, or technology. I’m most at home in collaborative projects: I enjoy the give-and-take of brainstorming, iterating together, and transforming a shared vision into something people can actually play.

If you have any interesting ideas, feel free to reach out!

Procedural
Planet

A Unity project capable of procedurally generating planets.

Implemented customizable terrain generation through layered noise functions and adjustable parameters, with visualized noise blending and color-mapping rules.

Sisyphus’
Rock
A full-process RPG developed in Unreal Engine, where the player embodies Sisyphus—forever pushing a boulder up an endless mountain in defiance of fate.

Dynamic weather, shifting terrain, and evolving emotions turn each climb into a visceral journey of endurance and reflection.

Rhythm
of
Life

A serious educational game developed in Unreal Engine, simulating AED first-aid training.

Set in a flood-stricken environment, the player learns to perform life-saving procedures and successfully resuscitates an injured victim using an AED device.
